100% of funds raised within the Community go back into the Community
We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
Our 1.35 million men and women in 210 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.
Lions Australia, which will celebrate 70 years of service in 2017, was first established in 1947. Each year the local clubs of Lions Australia raise between $25-30 million for community initiatives, projects and causes.
Where there's a need there's a Lion!

Nishesh Kayastha, Charter President of NSW Campus Lions, shares some thoughts on Lions.
Would you be prepared to recommend Lions to your friends?
‘Absolutely. I believe that part of the reason why Lions has been successful as a global organisation is the lack of prejudice and a helping attitude that is synonymous with camaraderie.’
